Task: Student late in handing in major assignment
Action: I listened to reasons which were a split family situation and no internet at the fathers
house. I asked what would she do about correcting problem.
She suggested her local library. I got a commitment from her and I did not make any
further comment so she did not get embarrassed by discussing her family situation.
Result: Assignment handed in before school results were needed.
